Nano Cell Networks

Nano Cell Networks use very small (nano) radios. These nano radios are small in size and have low SWaP requirements and low output power. They are perfect for deployments where size, weight or power consumption are a concern.

I deployed and created all of these networks by fitting all the pieces necessary to make them robust, reliable and mission ready.

Modular SC5200 Platform

This platform of nano radio was modular with the baseband board on the right and a RF card on the left. An interposer card was also available to allow up to 4 RF cards on one baseband board at a time. This allowed up to 4 different bands on one baseband board, allowing you to have a great deal of band agility for jamming mitigation.

I worked extensively on this platform and helped it troubleshoot its design as it was largely an experimental program.

T3

Custom mounted battery operated T3 network. This system was originally created for research purposes but was re-purposed for UAV duty. This one small mount includes the radio board, the baseband board, the application server, and a military grade battery to run it all.
