Micro Cell Networks
Micro Cells are typically about 5W or so in RF output power and roughly 400 users. They require more SWaP than nano cells but less than macro cells. These are carrier grade radios meaning they are rock solid in reliability and widely used by the large commercial carriers in both the US and the world.
These radios are completely weather-proof and fan-less and can be deployed with lightning protection as well, allowing them to be mounted permanently for terrific range and coverage.
Nokia Multi Radio
This is a CBRS radio with two RF front ends each outputting 2 x 5W allowing up to 800 users.
This particular model has a custom center enclosure I built that contains the EPC and Application server, so this is a complete network only needing power to operate.
The two RF front ends allow for either carrier aggregation for faster speeds or band agility to use one front end at a time and have the ability to switch if needed.
Nokia Flexi Radio
With 2 x 5W and up to 400 users the Flexi Micro cell has terrific range and is available in a great deal of bands. This radio is rock solid and can be modified to take DC power inputs, allowing it to work great with vehicle platforms or large batteries.
